Things that went well:

• Working over a weekend to prevent disruption of FreeGeek operations
• Having warehouse area to work in made things go much easier
• Explicit instructions for volunteers worked well for packing monitors/printers
  
• Free parking lot available at FreeGeek with Forklift(with operator) and pallet yard nearby
• Boxes were easy to pack monitors in and contained cords for computer/monitor
• HP 5L/6L printers and cables fit into boxes nicely
• FreeGeek has computer repair facilities in case of damage during transport to loading area
• Having a tape gun was good for taping boxes
• Hazardous waste label on monitors in local language was good (should be laserjet, not inkjet)
  

Things that could improve:

• Wrap computers on truck to prevent damage from transport to container loading area
• Needed to buy more tape for monitor boxes (three rolls not enough; five is better)
  
• Monitor boxes on bottom of pallets got crushed under weight
• Container arrived seven hours late, wasted everyone's time
• Did we forget the keyboards?
• Need to get shrink wrap early to wrap boxed monitors so we don't have to rush on shipment day
• Need better way to band/wrap computers to pallets in container to prevent shifting
